These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ShiftVoice mobile application and website (shiftvoice.app), operated by ShiftVoice ("we," "us," or "our"). By using ShiftVoice, you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of Service
ShiftVoice is a voice-first shift handoff platform that allows teams in shift-based businesses to record voice notes, automatically transcribe and categorize them using AI, extract actionable tasks, and track team acknowledgment. The service is available as a mobile application on iOS and through the shiftvoice.app website.
2. Accounts
You must create an account to use ShiftVoice. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating an account for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use ShiftVoice for its intended purpose. Recording and managing shift handoff information for your team. You may not:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose.
- Record individuals without their knowledge where required by law.
- Attempt to access data belonging to other organizations.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application.
- Use the service to store sensitive personal health information (PHI) beyond what is necessary for operational shift handoffs.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you create through ShiftVoice, including voice recordings, transcriptions, tasks, and notes. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the service. We do not use your content to train AI models or share it with third parties.
5. Subscription and Billing
ShiftVoice offers a free plan and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly per location through the Apple App Store. Prices are listed on our pricing page. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store settings.
6. Intellectual Property
The ShiftVoice name, logo, application, website design, and underlying technology are our intellectual property. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or proprietary technology beyond what is necessary to use the service.
7. Limitation of Liability
ShiftVoice is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the application. Your continued use of ShiftVoice after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.
